Diagnostic imaging is a key component of excellence in patient care. Kingston Imaging Services is focused on working with LGCFHT, and our community, to provide timely access to general ultrasound services. Delivering on-site flu shots – for the convenience of residents and staff! The LGCFHT partnered with the Royal Brock Retirement Living and FoxRun By-The-River Retirement Residence, to administer on-site flu shots. Both patients and staff benefitted from this great community outreach program.

The LGCFHT providers are recommending that the most important thing is for seniors to get the flu shot. We do not have any guarantee of receiving further quantities of the High-Dose Vaccine as there is a manufacturing shortage across the province. It takes two weeks to develop immunity.
We are expecting a shipment of the Regular Vaccine next week and will be scheduling flu clinics then.
