Gloves on for community partnerships!

The Leeds & Grenville Community Family Health Team (LGCFHT) recognized Earth Day last Friday afternoon by participating in the Brockville Community-Wide Clean-Up.

To celebrate this global initiative, over 20 LGCFHT staff members tidied the grounds surrounding the LGCFHT building, the Brockville Police Service station, and a nearby creek.

With reusable gloves, garbage bags and recycling bags in hand, staff members spent 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. beautifying the area.

“Not only was this event a great way to clean-up our community and celebrate Earth Day, but it was an excellent team-building activity,” said Jenny Lane, LGCFHT Executive Director. “We’d like to thank the Brockville Community-Wide Clean-Up Committee for providing the supplies and organizing such an important event.”
