The LGCFHT Participates in Brockville Public Library's "Community Health Fair"

The #LGCFHT participated in the "Community Health Fair" on Wednesday, November 21, hosted by the Brockville Public Library.

Our Community Diabetes Educators Julie McKenzie, Registered Nurse (RN) (left) and Lucy Smith, Registered Dietitian, spoke to attendees about our various services, and shared detailed nutritional resources.

This free event invited guests to participate in a hearing test, talk to a RN and a home care dental hygienist, learn about will and estate planning, and meet representatives from local community service providers.

We joined the Canadian Hearing Society, the Alzheimer Society Lanark Leeds Grenville, Community & Primary Health Care, Ontario Ministry of Transportation, Parkinson Canada, Fitzpatrick & Culic Barristers and Solicitors, YMCA of Brockville and Area, Brockville 50+ Activity Centre, and 1000 Islands Helping Hands for this important initiative.

"The LGCFHT is proud to have participated in this wonderful community event," says Jenny Lane, LGCFHT Executive Director. "I'd like to extend a big thank you to our staff for preparing such a useful and information-packed presentation for event guests."
